“The Launching of RISE Programme in Indonesia: Evaluating How Teacher Reforms in Decentralised Indonesia Can Promote Learning Gains”. This event aims to introduce RISE Programme in Indonesia, an education research program led by The SMERU Research Institute.

SMERU is partnering with the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD) and the Mathematica Policy Research (Mathematica). RISE Programme in Indonesia has affirmed its commitment to play an active role in the country’s education system reform agenda, which is also a part of the global agenda for improving learning outcome. RISE Programme in Indonesia specifically monitors the implementation of teacher reform in decentralised Indonesia and reviews how far the teacher reform can improve learning outcome.
